#traxxfm Hi Rex, I am to stay on track with the Force, the Path, and the Flow. Did my bit this morning with Mr. Innuendo . So I just chill with you as I pierce my Mushin No Shin through Shoshin.
#traxxfm I am not going to intervene on matters relating to religion and politics. As I mentioned in the past, I am here to practice my 8 percepts of Autonomous Governance and the Zen of Personal Bliss: 2021a4lvol2.blogspot.com/2021/07/19721- What can I say?
Life is beautiful...
-------------------------------------------------------
I must say that the 6 kg is a bit too light to my liking. I should have gone for the 7.5 kg. Well, I have to say that the Micro Workout is not for me to bulk. I do it as a routine to keep on moving.
The concept is it is better for me to do something than nothing.
It is better than the 1.5 kg dumbbell that I am currently using. So now I have 3 different weights I am working with; light for speed, medium for tone, and heavy for bulk.
I guess, depending on the intensity and frequency, I can still achieve my goal to transform my body into the Statue of David.
The idea is to acquire the physique of a runner. So yeah, I need to tone, not to bulk.
With light weights, all I need is consistency.
It is nice to bulk. However, to gain muscle I need to eat a lot. So I concluded that I just do the things that don't cost me much to maintain the lifestyle of Athlete4Life.
In short, muscle is high maintenance. So rather than bulk, I just tone.
-----------------------------------------------------------
If I want to practice Athlete4Life as a way of life, I have to get rid of the idea of no pain no gain.
Rather, I should take it that what I am doing is ultimately to strengthen my heart. Therefore it is better to get the heart pumping on a regular basis than to stress the body to develop bigger muscles.
I have to decide on my own design philosophy. In this case, my aim is to be thin and fast. Thus the main idea is to ensure that I can perform as a runner.
In this case, what matters is not muscle mass but rather a functional body like a true athlete.
What is the point of having all the muscles but I am not performing as a runner? In most cases, those with muscle mass are not agile.
Do I want to bulk or do I want to tone? I decided that it is better for me to tone. Always, it has to be that form follows function.
