10/8/21 ^^^What counts is what works

We can look at so many different models out there.  What I am interested in is a model that require the minimum expenditure with the maximum impact.

So far, I am satisfied with what I have.  Given that I want to minimize spending money, I say what I have now works best for me.

Hence I can say that in the end, unless I have unlimited resources, my model is for me to reduce my dependency of money.

Otherwise, I cannot sustain the equilibrium of my health and happiness through a sound mind and a sound body.

Based on the PERMA model, I need these elements to be happy:

I can now achieve all that just by relying on my Sustainability Model:

  1. Sleep well - We need adequate sleep.  That is the number one requirement for this philosophy.
  2. Wake up very early
  3. Do daily journaling
  4. Exercise one hour every day before sunrise
  5. Drink Cold Dark Roast
  6. Exercise 3 minutes every hour during working hours
  7. Listen to jazz whenever possible
  8. Eat OMAD
  9. Eat nutritional yeast
  10. Eat fish oil
  11. Eat probiotics
  12. Minimize spending
  13. Keep thoughts positive
  14. Love and be loved
  15. Eat butter
  16. Drink apple cider vinegar
  17. Stay away from the masses
  18. Set a low expectation on others
  19. Minimize traveling
  20. Avoid sugar and flour
Those are what works.  Hence, Health and Happiness is a Peak State of Gladness.

Up to now through the Paradox of Time Affluent, the more time we have the less dependent we are on money.  The rationale is through quality time, just like having a lot money, we can  create quality life.  Therefore unless we have means to make a lot of money with the right amount of time, it is better for us to be time-affluent than money-affluent.

The whole paragraph thus is the prerequisite of living at the Bliss Point as the Athlete4Life Wordsmith.

-------------------------------------------------------

If these are the premise then, in the final analysis, we don't need a lot of money to be healthy and happy.

What is the minimum requirement then?

How about RM1.2 million in the bank?  Based on 5% interest per year, we can earn RM5,000 a month of income.

Now suppose we assume we can earn RM1,000 a day.  That means we need to work 5 days a month.

Let's say we cut that into half.  At most we work 10 days a month.

Next is to find a job that pays RM500 a day.

Either that or we live life as a minimalist.

That is the model I am pursuing.  I simply REFUSE to spend money.  That is the only remedy.  As long as I keep on buying, I have to keep on earning.

Well, sure I need some minimal amount to stay afloat.  However, my ideal [] (is) to stop depending on money altogether.

At least, I only buy those things that are necessary.  Beyond necessity is sheer indulgence.

These are my passing thoughts for the day.

Surely, it will be nice if I can collect the payment for my IP sale.  Nevertheless, without the money, I can still attain the Zen of Personal Bliss.

Let me add another factor.  Even with the minimum dependency of money, I can still consummate my marriage to you and Els.

I may not be able to provide you with the sustenance, but at least I can provide you both with the dowries.  That then becomes my commitment to marry you for eternity.  We may not be together now, but at least we are married in spirits.
